Today we are kinda celebrating my dad’s birthday where I can already smell some sweet aromas from the kitchen and I knew that we are going to consume lotsa meat. Being a health freak is quite hard especially when it comes to such occasions. Furthermore I felt obliged to buy my dad a birthday present and the first thing that came to my mind was olive oil.

My dad is a heavy meat-eater and drinks a lot of tea with milk so it is very obvious that he has issues with blood pressure which arises from presence of plenty LDL (bad) cholesterol. Olive oil, as well as other unsaturated fats, lower this bad cholesterol at the same time increases the good HDL cholesterol.
