According to the WHO (What Health Organisation – with pun intended), more than 18 000 Kenyans die of cancer every year and lately some well known politicians have succumb to treatment of this diet and lifestyle disease, not cancer itself. Cancer is growing fast in Kenya as we blindly embrace the American culture of fast food, chemical farming, genetic modification and what not.

Yes, cancer is 100% due to diet and lifestyle, but most doctors are brainwashed to think that genetics has anything to do with it. Yes, there is a genetic predisposition, but never a genetic predetermination, more weight is on carcinogens as the cause of cancer and not genes, period.

Carcinogens

In America, cancer is a 250 billion dollar industry so it pays for you to get cancer and suffer in pain. I am no conspiracist but a realist, there are carcinogens all over you;

  1. Cigarette; More than 15 000 Kenyans die every year due to second-hand smoke, another >500 000 die due to first hand smoking. This is rather obvious, when a cig burns, it releases more than 4000 toxic chemicals that affect EVERY part of your body, from head to toe. Mouth cancer, throat cancer, lung cancer, you name it, need not to mention the respiratory risks brought about by this cancer stick. Just put down the cigarette and take care of withdrawals symptoms with juices, plenty water and herbs :), I use to be in the nicotine trap myself but after knowing that my future was jeopardized by every puff I took, I kicked the habit easy, but its all in the mind! FYI, cigarettes kill more people than terrorism, AIDS and nuclear bombs combined.
    My neighbor quit the day before yesterday, after smoking for 15 years, it is possible! He tells me the cayenne pepper and juices help him with the withdrawals.
  2. Food; Most of the food in the market is not organic, meaning it was most likely sprayed with toxic chemicals in the disguise of herbicides, pesticides, weedicides, its all genocide. Nowadays there is the new threat of GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms) which also cause cancer, sterility among other debilitating diseases. Organic farming is safe and more delicious, as chef, I know!
  3. Water; this is largely ties to carcinogen number one as the chemicals used in modern day farming seep into our water sources; boreholes, rivers, oceans…and we end up drinking it. The plastic bottles that we also use have carcinogens in them. Use a stainless steel one, glass or ceramics to store water. Activated charcoal is also great for removing toxins ingested from contaminated water.
  4. Cleaning products; From your petrol-based soap, to your chlorine-laced bleach, they all cause cancer. All purpose cleaners, washing detergents, all pollute indoor air and some residue gets ingested, causing the cancer. Use baking soda, hydrogen peroxide and organic vinegar and you will be amazed how clean your home will be, with less work and less money spent, what more can I say?
  5. Cosmetics; This accounts for like 99% of skin cancers because the ‘manufacturers’ use very toxic chemicals to preserve, enhance, color and make the product more market-friendly. Cologne, perfume, deodorant, lip stick, lip bum/gloss, all are made with synthetic chemicals that cause cancer. You can easily buy halal products is many Islam-related shopping areas, which are non toxic and makes you more pretty, have you seen the beauty in eastleigh? Another option is using organic extra virgin olive oil in your hot bath or directly on skin.
    Extra virgin coconut oil also works miracles for skin, both men and women, so lose the toxic cosmetics you have, or else get cancer, I am sorry, there is no way to ‘sugar-coat’ this, which brings me to my 5th carcinogen which probably should have been number 1.
  6. Sugar; Comes in many forms, but most of you will consume it in tea with milk, another carcinogen, most of you will drink it in soda, chemical juices, alcohol (yes beer is laced heavily with sugars like high fructose corn syrup which also lowers IQ). Cancer feeds on sugar, so just quit it, if you don’t want cancer that is. Use stevia, honey, pure maple syrup, cane sugar, dates, raisins, sultanas, there are many ways to sweeten foods, naturally, less the cancer and diabetes. Sugar also bring inflammation throughout the body hence diseases like arthritis, weak bones and . Eating too much fruits also is unhealthy as the starch is broken down to sugars and that is why most nutritionists will tell you to limit fruit intake to 2 servings per day or 2 medium-sized apples vis-a-vis.

Anti-Cancer Foods

No need for getting to details here, just know that if it’s organic, it will help prevent and cure cancer, otherwise won’t probably work.

  • Green Tea is a great anticancer food due to high content of polyphenol antioxidants
  • Apricot Seed Kernels have amagdylin which is a potent anticancer agent. A clinic in Mexico has reported a 100% success rate on cancer using apricot seeds alone.
  • Cayenne pepper contains capsaicin which has been proven to block cancer cells from growing
  • People have cured themselves of cancer using superfoods like turmeric which contains curcumin that is an invaluable nutrient.
  • Garlic also kills cancer cells, it is proven by good old science.
  • Rooibos tea (Pronounced ‘Roy-Boss’) is a world reknown cancer therapy that has no side effects and is also very beneficial in other aspects of health.
  • All green leafy vegetables are good for cancer prevention and treatment, and also strongly recommended for everyone broccoli, kales, spinach, collard greens, bitter herbs, amaranth leaves, stuff like that is very healthy and the bitter herbs are more likely to be organic since they grow wildly, like stinging nettle.
  • Whole grains, nuts, seeds and cold pressed oils should also be in your anti cancer arsenal like olive oil, hemp oil, coconut oil, fish oil, sesame oil e.t.c.

Alkalinity

Cancer cannot thrive in an alkaline body, simple fact, so simply alkalize your body using again, green leafy vegetables, cayenne pepper, baking soda, lemon water, quinoa, wild rice, avocado, flax seeds, peas, sweet potatoes, almonds, walnuts, cucumber, watermelon, Asparagus, onions, herbal teas
