Steaming veggies is one of the healthiest ways to consume them and a very quick way to get veggies on your plate with no fuss. The trick is to use residual heat from your stew/broth. yes, they cook perfectly and it is almost impossible to overcook them. This means you get maximum nutrition and flavour.

You simply season your chopped veggies (you can get pre-chopped veggies from mama mboga) and then place them on top of your stew or you could put in a bowl and pour the stew over it. The veggies cook withing 2 minutes.

You really have no reason for avoiding vegetables. I like a mix of kale/sukSAM_4851veggies steamed in bean stewuma with amaranth/terere. Delicious.
