I noticed my eyes were more sensitive to light after a stint of wearing too many hats. Immediately, I stopped that and I started eating more raw carrots plus juicing them together with raw terere (amaranth greens).
I have also been drinking more water and embracing more of the sun.
My eye health has improved within about 2-3 weeks of this and I am even eating more great carrots.
They are not expensive and many are grown organically because they grow underground which makes them slightly less susceptible to pest attacks.
I always look for the small ones which are sweeter and probably contain more nutrients per serving.
