You can grow beetroot in a container for the greens. They are delicious and great for frying with other greens, salads, smoothies, even juicing.
Simply buy from the market, plant, water every day. It will become bigger, then you can cut some of it and replant the tops. There are so many things that can be grown in this concrete jungle.
